Tuna Noodle Delight

INGREDIENTS:
1 pkg (12 oz) medium egg noodles, cooked, drained
2 cans tuna, drained (6 1/2 to 7 oz each)
1/2 cup minced onion
1 1/2 cups diced celery
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup diced pimiento
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) cream of shrimp soup or cream of mushroom soup
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of celery soup
1 cup milk
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
PREPARATION:
Combine noodles with tuna, onion, celery, mayonnaise, pimiento, and salt. Mix soup and milk together in a 2-quart saucepan over medium low heat, stirring and cooking until heated through. Add cheese; stir until sauce is smooth and cheese is melted.

Pour sauce over noodle mixture and stir gently to combine. Pour into two greased 2-quart casseroles; bake at 375°. for about 45 minutes.
Serves 8 to 10


Tuna Noodle Casserole

Ingredients
2 tbsp Butter
1 cup Thinly sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup Finely chopped green onions
2 tbsp White flour
2 1/2 cups Low-fat milk
1 cup Grated Cheddar cheese
2 (6 oz) cans Tuna
2 cups Cooked egg noodles
1/4 cup Parsley, minced
1/2 cup Dry breadcrumbs

Preparation
Preheat oven to 375. Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Saute mushrooms and onions until just tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and whisk in milk. Return pan to heat and cook, stirring, until it thickens and almost reaches a boil. Remove from heat and stir in cheese; stir until melted.

Drain tuna and break into flakes. Put in large bowl and add sauce, cooked noodles, parsley. Stir together and pour into greased baking dish. Sprinkle top with breadcrumbs. Bake at 375 until browned on top, about 30 minutes.

Cook's Notes
Serve your favorite green vegetables and/or a spinach salad with this dish. Crusty rolls and butter add some crunch.

3 cups cooked macaroni
1 (6 ounce) can tuna, drained
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cups French fried onions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a 9x13-inch baking dish, combine the macaroni, tuna, and soup. Mix well, and then top with cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about 25 minutes, or until bubbly. Sprinkle with fried onions, and bake for another 5 minutes. Serve hot.

Tuna Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients

(1 servings)

1/2 c Divided margarine
1 md Chopped onion
1/4 c Cornstarch
3 c Milk
1/4 ts Hot pepper sauce
2 Chicken flavor bouillon
Cubes
2 cn (6.5-oz each) drained and
Flaked tuna
1 pk (10-oz) frozen chopped
Thawed broccoli
8 oz Elbow macaroni cooked 6
Minutes and drained
1 1/4 c Shredded cheddar cheese
Divided
1/2 c Fresh bread crumbs


Instructions

Spray 1 quart casserole with cooking spray. In 2 quart saucepan melt 1/4 cup of the margarine over medium heat. Add onion; saute 3 minutes. In small bowl stir corn starch, milk and hot pepper sauce until smooth; add to onions in saucepan. Add bouillon cubs. STirring constantly, bring to a boil and boil 1 minute. In large bowl combine sauce, tuna, broccoli, elbow macaroni and 1 cup of the cheese. Turn into prepared casserole. In small bowl combine bread crumbs, remaining 1/4 cup cheese and remaining 1/4 cup margarine, melted; sprinkle over casserole. Bake in 350 degree oven 25 minutes or until topping is lightly browned.

For the Tuna Casserole
1 cup frozen peas
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 can (10 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 can milk
1 can tuna, drained
4 cups cooked elbow macaroni (about 2 cups dry)
2 cups grated Kraft Medium Cheddar Cheese, divided

Directions:
For the Tuna Casserole
STIR together peas and celery with soup and milk in a large microwaveable dish. Microwave on HIGH for 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
ADD tuna, cooked macaroni and 1 cup cheddar cheese.
SPRINKLE with remaining cheese and microwave on HIGH for 10 min or until hot and bubbly.

Tuna, cream sauce, wild mushrooms and cooked egg noodles. Mix it together in a Pyrex dish, top with French Fried Onion rings and bake until hot and bubbly! Yum!
