And also inform your opinion about Nissan. are their cars durable and rock solid like toyota camry and honda accord?

At $3488.00 not a bad deal however. Privately you may find a 1999 for the same price and get a car with 60,000 miles instead. Why buy used when you can own a new Versa for the same payment? Although for 6 years the new car will be stylish and warranty for 5 years and 50,000 from nissan. The feeling of a Brand new car priceless! 36 MILES A GALLON IS BETTER!

We drive a 2002 Nissan Sentra. We love it as it is a comfortable ride and reminds us of the 200 SX Datsun sports car we use to have. That was a 1980.
I don't know what the blue book price is for your 1997 but it would be worth it to
go to a Nissan dealership and have a talk with them. You will love the Sentra!!

Our family absolutely loves Nissan. We have had great luck with the three we've had. My aunt had a '90 240SX (traded in '98),my grandfather has a '91 Truck with 133K Miles that still runs great without many problems, and my parents have a '04 Murano w/ 53K that we have had no problems at all with.
As far as the sentra goes, you will be happy with it. The most simple car Nissan made in '97,not many things that can go wrong with it,what more can you ask for ? I say go for it!

I would say 3000 is all I would pay. especially if it has the 1.6l it is a very good car tho. that is the same engine in 90% of the Sentra taxis in mexico.
