She is about 11 weeks old and is an American Bulldog. I tried calling the vet but they are not open. She was playing with another dog last night and dislocated her leg somehow. We put it back in place, and she limped for awhile, but seems to be fine now. She doesn't seem to be in any noticeable pain anymore, and is not limping. Should I be concerned, or should she be ok now? Anyone that knows anything, I would appericate it.

Just call the vet when they open back up and have him/her take a look at it. Most likely, there won't be anything wrong. You just want to make sure there's no permanent damage and that the joint will stay in place. Usually they will have a dog in a leg brace or something after they put a hip(I'm assuming that's what dislocated) back in place. Keep her calm in the mean time and don't let her run around for a while.

Well I work at a vet office during the week so. If I were you I would call the vet even though she is not limping or she doesnt have any pain you still need to go to the vet. Just ask the vet to give her an Xray.

There are breeds that dislocations are common and you have one of them. take your dog to your vet, get xrays and let the vet make a determination of the likely hood of this happening again. Your dog may need an opperation to correct the problem.

I would have the vet look her over, she may have a deformity in the leg, causing it to dislocate. It's unusal for a dog to have this kind of injury, I would take her to the vet as soon as you can.

Yes!!!!! Our puppy hurt his leg, it has never been the same, please get help from a vet. It is not normal to dislocate your leg, so you should see if your puppy needs anything. My pup doesn't show any pain either, but his leg still hurts. Dogs don't naturally show weakness but that doesn't mean they don't hurt. Hopefully she is fine, but best to get a professional opinion, even if it'll cost you a bit.

sometimes takeing things in to your own hands is good, but when it comes down to a dislocaled leg, then its time to leave it to a vet. she may seem okay, but it is best to stay on the safe side.

Yes. take your dog to the vet to be sure it is o.k.You don't want something to show up later and get a huge vet bill.

Though you may have put her leg back there could still be damage to her leg you are unware of. The vet should be able to give something for pain also.

Of course. Especially at her age, 11 weeks. A quick trip could save her a lifetime of pain.

You should definitely take her to the vet. You cannot be sure you set the joint correctly, and a professional should really take a look at her. Either way, I hope she's okay.
