Its not the unavailability of resources to steralise them, but the ignorant culture of countries like india. Bcoz their ultimate goal of life will be earning money from zero. And most of the people in the authority are unwise.

I know I read it in the newspaper, These street dogs or those pack of dogs eat raw meat from the beef stalls or meat stalls or garbages or dogs are tortured by people thats why they become aggresive and wild and is not able to be controlled. Poor animals , But it is not right to hurt or kill people .
I even read that the attacks are mainly on small children most of the time they go to the shop and get eatables or they are eating some thing with food, the hungry animals might attack because of this.
Some thing should be done about this , But they should train these dogs and start loving them.
Because there is a saying "Man's Best friend is a Dog" , they are very loyal . I hope they dont kill dogs
I too have dogs in my house , One is a Boxer and The other is a Labridor.

Because of RABIES American "Animal Control Officers" don't allow packs of dogs to remain in a pack for very long.

Starvation, overbreeding, thirst, rabies, other illness's WILL cause packs of dogs to react in such a manner.

It is sad but in poorer countries people don't have the resources to sterilize their pets or vaccinate even if the services are available.

Those dogs will most likely be hunted down and shot by people sick of these "Rabid dogs". I don't know if it is "Rabies" but it is a serious issue.

Poor dogs.

To bad there are no free resources in these parts of the world to sterilize/vaccinate pets.

its sad on these poor creature. Problem lies with the People too. Instead of contacting any NGO's (there are many rescue groups in INDIA ) which are aided by Govt. they can be vaccinated and shots given. My view is this issue needs citizens attentin also instead of just blaming the govt. Just search thru yellow pages and call some NGO to treat stray dogs.If unable to find one, just shell out couple of INR/$ for them

stray dogs have become a menace because illegal mutton shops have dumped meat on the road to feed these dogs and help them multiply. killing these dogs are not going to end the cities vows in one day. the same garbage dumps and meat shops will attract rats and plague may result. as it happened in gujrat. animal welfare organisations do their part but they are always constrained for resources.

It is a very pathetic senario and to overcome this tragedy we (the public), the administration and the politicians who rule the country, should be determined to stamp out such miserable happennings.
