Okay, here's why I'm doing what I'm doing:
We've going out for almost 16 months and I just want something fresh.
I'm not getting enough attention from him, however conceited that sounds.
He's flirting with other girls more than he does me.
He seems to always be putting me off due to projects, tiredness, or whatever crap he says.
I know this is what I want, but I just don't know how to say it. Over the phone or in person? Do I tell him why or not? How do I say this? <3

In person is always better than over the phone, and the best policy is to be honest. Tell him the things that you said in your question are your concerns. Maybe if he is paying more attention to other girls, he is looking to get out of the relationship too. Just remember to be honest.

The best thing to break off with a person is to tell them in person. tell him your sorry but things between you are not working out and you just want to be friends. and tell him its over. good luck.

Get together in person.Go to a local park, sit down, hold his hands and calmly say "His name here,I don't think we are working out together,I just want us to be friends,Im breaking up"He should be cool with it,and its the best thing you can possibly say to him.Hope I helped and get best answer!
