<<<<<..eat an orange every late afternoon, is there a limit? I mean is there a limit as to the number of pieces of fruit one should eat everyday?
(I love fresh fruit but some of my friends tell me that too much fruit can be as bad for you as too little). Oh and yes, I eat grapes everyday also, usually after dinner. I may be eating too many of those though. Can someone comment who knows about fruit?
I eat two meals per day, mostly wheat/bran foods, fresh veggies and salmon or shrimp. No beef. A little broiled chicken once in a while. No soft drinks. Just water or a glass of wine twice a week with dinner).

My mom uses the zip-lock snack size bags and fills them up with grapes. She eats very healthy and says these smaller bags are exactly a serving size - I think it's actually a cup. Check out www.mypyramid.gov You can enter your age and height and activity level and it will tell you how many servings are recommended for you and what the actual serving sizes are.

1/2 a cup or about 18 grapes is one serving. you really should be eating 3 meals a day, other wise your metabolism will slow down. Too much of anything is bad, but the daily recommendation is 2 cups of fruit a day.
