Yesterday at a park, I saw this guy who is a regular customer at my restaturant. I was surprise that he owns a lot of dogs. He have a doberman, shih tzu, pomerian, and two mutts that are as big as doberman and one that is medium size.

Why would anyone want that many dogs? Especially if they're well to do and in mid 20's?

Well, I have 4 Great Danes here. Because I love them and because I do Dane rescue. And because I foster for the SPCA. And because they needed homes.

And I'll never see 20 again!

Are you sure they're all his and that he's not helping out any neighbors? On the other hand he may just have a love for dogs and as long as he can afford to properly care for them there's nothing wrong with that many dogs. I would almost bet some of them he has rescued. Instead of criticizing him, get up the nerve and say something like "wow, are they all yours" and comment on how well they were behaved. Or how beautiful they are, something that won't offend him, but can answer your curiosity. There's nothing wrong with being curious, I've been known just to come out and ask some one about things I was curious about. Just ask him if you want to know the answer to this question from him, he may be willing to give you the answer himself.

I'm a small animal rescuer and when people find out that on top of all the small animals I have (36), they are surprised to know I also have in my home, a snake, an iguana, pair of cockatiels, a wolf hybrid, 2 dogs (both rescued), tanks of fish, and 14 cats (8 of 14 were rescued). In my back yard I have a Pygmy goat and a red sheep. One of good things about having a diverse array of animals, is you learn a vast amount of additional information on them and are able to help others, like in Yahoo! Answers.

Let me guess, your a cat person. Dogs love you no matter what, Unconditional love. They are always happy to see you. Can you say that about people? Yes, they may be hairy, sloobering beasts, but the happiness a dog brings to your life outweighs all of the mess. A lot like having kids.

Possible he likes to rescue animals, he has a love of animals and enjoys raising and caring for them. He is likely a sensitive person. Maybe he is well to do in his mid 20's because he isn't wasting his money dating dimwits.

Well I own 4 dogs and take care of 2 dobermans that we foster.

I don't know, maybe he couldn't control himself, or maybe he needs them to guard the house, maybe he saved them from being put down or maybe they aren't his. Who knows..
