I have liked this guy for a while and we have become such close friends. I wanted to become more than that so i asked him out. All my friends were happy for me because they thought he liked me too. I thought i was going to have my first bf.

Anyways, he said that he liked me but "only as a friend." I guess i should be happy that we are still close friends but i still feel that we should be more than that. He is so sweet cuz, even though he rejected me he doesn't treat me any different. We still walk and talk together in the hallway. I still feel a spark,... or i think so.

Please give me some guidence. I don't what to do about the situation.

If I were you I would just wait. Because if he does like you and if there is a spark, let him take the time to feel it. Maybe the reason he doesnt want to date right now is because he hasnt felt what you fell yet. Just give it a little time, and if nothing happens ask hime why. Sit and talk with him heart to heart and tell him how you feel about the situation. then wehn your done talking listen to him, and then maybe you'll fond out why! Again though when you talk make sure you talk, cause guys hate arguments!

Aww I know how you feel and I've been there before and I know it sucks! Anyway, the best thing to do right now is to just respect his decision, even if you do feel sparks. If it is meant to be, one day he will come to you, because chances are he is not ready for a relationship right now- but in the mean time don't wait around for him- he sounds very sweet- but try to meet other people to and don't dwell on the past. When this happened to me, my guy did ultimately come around and ask me out- he claims he was not ready for a relationship before but he appreciates my honoring his decision and not nagging him! It made him like me more, he says.

Hang out and just be friends but don't close yourself off to any other possibitlies waiting for him to "like you back".
He already likes you or he wouldn't be hanging out with you. Maybe he's not ready to be in a "relationship".
Why is it you need to have a bf? Concentrate on becoming the best person you can be and you'll be so much more fulfilled. And a bf will come in time.

The sad part is when u get with someone else, and start giving him all that special attention, that's when ur friend will want you.

He's as much told you he doesn't like you that way. Yet you insist on imagining otherwise. Cos that's it is, your imagination.
