I am concerned about upgrading because I can't confirm that Office 2000 will still work with the Vista OS. thanks.

I can not make a promise. But, I ask; "Why do you want to upgrade"? If, it work why spend more money? Vista just came out and have many bugs that need fixed. Wait until they have a SP1 before you spend money. Also remember they only going to give 5 year support on some of the low end Vista so you definitely want to get the Vista that be supported for 10 years.

My Vista Home has 2003 office, I'm not sure if they are much differant but Microsoft does offer a lot of downloads to make lesser versions compatable with Vista
