Puppies without shots should not be exposed to ANY other dogs, not even vaccinated puppies. Wait until your dog gets her shots.

I would be very careful when/if introducing a new puppy period, regardless of any vaccines. If your roommate wants a puppy they ideally should be separated for 2 weeks with no contact at all. I used to work at an animal hospital and we wouldn't vaccinate new puppies right away because of potential diseases that the owners haven't even seen yet. A new puppy can have an illness/virus etc. that can be incubating and will not show any signs for up to 2 weeks. Good luck !

i really dont think it would matter if either dogs have had their shots yet. what does matter is if the dogs will get along? if u dont think so, then dont get another puppy. hope this helps!

it's ok to give your pup it shots now. it would be safer. so neither pup gets sick...
