If you've been denied credit for anything, you can present the denial letter to the listed agency within 30 days for a free report. There are also many places on the internet offering free reports. You are as well, entitled to one each year I think it is.

If you live in the U.S., the Federal government has set up the following website for citizens to check their credit report once each year with the three major credit reporting agencies, at no cost:

there is only one way!!!

the free and legit one is annual credit report....not "free" credit report!

https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp

they will ask you all kinds of questions first, just to make sure you're the right applicant...so be ready...then you get and ID and password, so you can go online for 4 weeks and make corrections and stuff...

I usually print out the reports and go over them line by line...

you get all 3 for free, once a year....

but if you also want your credit score...ya gotta go to another website, for free....
its eloan.com

http://www.eloan.com/

click on the right-top>>credit report tab>>fee credit score>>

the "real" credit score you only get is called "fair issac" score, but this will do in the meantime...

Annualcreditreport.com is the way to go. The "free" site requires you to enter a credit card number, the "annual" site does not.
