yes you loose an average of 75 hairs per day, but if its breaking off your talking about a whole different thing. I don't have enough details to help you.
Maybe you are brushing or combing it while tangled and breaking them off, wearing a pony tail to tight, etc....

If the weather is cold by you, it's possible that it's a weather thing- I always lost lots of hair during the winter. Or, if you've processed your hair more than once in the last month, you could just be losing damaged hair. Keep an eye on it, though, because hair loss can sometimes be a sign of internal problems. Have a trusted friend or relative check your scalp for little bald spots. This is called alopecia areata, something I had back in the 80's. You can recover from it, but it's best to do so under the care of a naturopath or holistic doctor.

yeah its cool humans lose an average of 150 hairs a day and about 180 grow back hence haircuts.

Yeah, you can loose a lot more than that even if you have strong hair and you're healthy.

I think so!!! My hair falls out alot but i still have really thick hair!!!
