Netscape Communicator 4.8 setup hangs on new XP Pro SP2 system. How to install?

I use the latest SeaMonkey for my browser, but I need the Composer from the old Netscape for compatibility with another program. It hangs when I try to run the install, no matter what compatibility mode I put it in. I've tried installing it as administrator but no go.

Any clues or insight would be appreciated.

Composer is not compatible with my needs in later versions.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
