When was the last time Christians rioted in the streets and killed people over a depiction of Jesus?

What kind of religion's people does this?

I think Christians rioting over the occupation of slaughtering unborn babies is a bit different.
Perhaps you had trouble understanding my question.

Christians do that all of the time at abortion clinics. Christians also invade other countries. You need to expand your would view just a little bit. Speaking of Jesus, would he want you to talk about other peoples religion like that, or would he ask you to act more like him? Perhaps you need to pray more.

You have to realize that though the basis of many religions are good or make spiritual sense- people use them to control, berate,use and push the populace by indoctrination for their own self service or that of their politically motivated selfish church. Sometimes I sit back and watch much of this and actually see abused and indictrinated people- generations worth. We can't help or fight this with normal or commonly known tools. We have to educate and educate ourselves also. Its a different world and we need to understand and so do they. When you've known nothing else how can you make a different choice-not an excuse because I agree its insane, look at all the useless deaths occuring, and for what?-but an observation. Look at the horrible things the Catholic Church has done done thru history- and its based on worshiping idols of Mary! Do you really think this woman- who I think was a spitirtually intelligent person-would want that? Would Jesus? He was a teacher- we should be learning and practicing not worshiping if you see my point. Also all the other prophets and teachers in so many world religions.

Christians do not riot that way, just because someone makes fun of our religion; I mean we have pretty much gotten used to this type of treatment we receive from others.

You might want to read the Bible a little, before making these kinds of remarks. Jesus Christ never hesitated to put people in their place, when it came to God’s Holy Word. There were several times He actually called the Pharisees and Sadducees “vipers”.

So you judge all 2 billion muslims on the actions of a few hundred? Have you seen the christians in Nigeria, Indonesia etc ever wondered why you dont see them on the news. It's because the west have an anti islamic viewpoint always trying to highlight a few criminals who act in islams name.

Christians worship jesus and say its ok to pray to icons of saints and prophets etc

I don't think Christians have ever done that. But there was this case somewhere else about some Muslims who did that when some play was going to have a depiction of a beheaded Muhammed alongside some other important religious figures.
