i wear glasses all the time (-9diopters), as you can see i can't see for the distance "very well". For some time i observed that when i'm tired one of my eyes look in a different direction than the other, my sister noticed it too, so i'm not just imagining it. Is this a serious problem? I heard people wearing glasses for it, but since i'm alredy wearing really strong ones, i'm worried. how serious is it? is there a solution for it? do i have to be operated? what can i do? maybe i'm overreacting, but you probably don't fear all the time of becoming blind at some point of your life..

It's called "lazy eye". My brother has it. They just give you a prescription for lenses that forces your eyes to look normal and face in the right direction.

You should check with your Ophthalmologist and see what he/she says.

First of all stop worrying until you see an, Ophthalmologist because GP,s (Bless Them) dont really know a a lot about eyes. I myself have had a lot of eye operations, so don't worry it might be nothing to worry about. Consultants know how frightened people are when their eyes give them trouble they will put you at your ease. Good Luck

Sounds like you have a "lazy" eye ..go to your opticians who will be able to advise you on the best course of treatment .They are eye experts obviously and will be able to help answer all your questions.I would do this as soon as possible for your peace of mind.
