It's herbs, not vitamins, that increase your hair thickness and health. When I developed alopecia back in the 80's my holistic doctor recommended two similar herbs: silica and horsetail. Both are very good for increasing the health of your hair and nails. Shampoo with vitamins in it can help, but ultimately, you want to fix the problem, and that's internal. You can, however, try washing with jojoba shampoo, along with taking herbal supplements. NOTE: When taking anything in a capsule, put it in your mouth, sip some water, and tilt your head forward to swallow. Capsules float, so tilting your head forward allows the capsule to float at the top, which would be the back of your throat. They're easier to take that way.

Lecithin works really good with me. I also love the new head & shoulders shampoo & Pantene makes a good 1 that thickens hair. The names are:
Pantene - 2 in 1 full and thick
Head & shoulders - intensive solutions for dry/damaged hair. The Lecithin takes a couple of months to work.

I used to have realy skinny infant wonderful hair too. till at last i found out it grew to become into shampoo that grew to become into making it that way. the sodium lauryl sulfate and each and all of the sulfates strip the hair shaft makes it destroy and on occasion it doesnt strengthen back very speedy. So now i exploit organic shampoo cleansing soap bars. it leaves a residue which you would be able to get out with a lemon water rinse or vinegar rinse. I additionally now use hair skin and nails diet from walmart. my nails and hair is longer and better and thicker. sturdy success. Smiles. Lisa B.

Take prenatal vitamins.
The folic acid in it is AMAZING!
Seriously--your nails and hair will grow MUCH quicker thanks to the folic acid in prenatal vitamins (among other vitamins in there as well).
