There will be nothing to shave if you wax first. To wax you need to let the hair grow out enough to have something to attach to....

It grows back slower only in the beggining when you wax; after some period you'll have to do it at least 2 or 3 times a week if you want perfectly cleaned skin. You have to choose which one of the two you prefer and if you start wax, it's better not to shave again because first of all it'll hurt more when you wax again and you'll have the darker and thick hairs grown once more
I do wax constantly for 2 years and it's much better than shaving - in some areas of the legs, for example, there are no hairs and I haven't done any IPL or laser. The pain also isn't a problem because you get used to it.
Good luck ;)

How does the wax have anything to grab on to if you've shaved already? I thought the point of waxing was to pull the hair out. I'd just wax and not shave. It takes the hair a little longer to grow back that way.

If you shave then you won't be able to wax. You need at least 1/4 inch of hair for the wax to work. It's gross growing your hair out though, so get used to lots of pants.

If you shave before you wax there is less hair for the wax to adhere to, thus not removing all of the roots . This will cause the hair to grow back patchy and faster.

nope. if you waxed after you've shaved, you're just wasting your effort and also wasting the wax. there's nothing left for the wax to grab onto thus literally nothing would be yanked out. waxing will keep your skin hair-free for a longer period of time than shaving. so you can just wax and not shave.

Shavin grows back quicker because you are only cutting the hair down to the skin. Waxing menas you pull out the hair from the folical, which means it grows back slower

no, actually it won't do anything, if you want it to grow back slower just wax, after a while of just waxing the hair will stop growing, and you'll be hairless....
