Okay. Here goes.
oatmeal- yes
stir fry chicken-maybe, depending on the oil you use
chex-yes
2%milk-better than whole
honey wheat bread-not sure. I'd go w/ regular wheat
fruit-yes
green tea-very good for diets
water-ditto
waffles-maybe. Not w/ butter or syrup.
I would suggest you eat more of a variety of foods. You will get so sick of eating the same thing that you will stray from it and it will be pointless.
Try eating chex one morning, fruit another, and oatmeal another, waffles another. That will give you variety for breakfast. Oh, and a glass of milk. As a snack you could do the fruit, or some yogurt. For lunch, have a sandwich, some green tea. Another snack could be a granola bar, fruit, yogurt, etc. And for dinner, make sure you have veggies of some sort, meat of some sort, and pasta or bread of some sort. And you'll have to do more than some situps to lose weight. Try going for a short run, then some situps and pushups, or jump rope, or run up and down stairs or even walk for 20min a day. Good luck!

Your list sounds pretty good but stay away from the waffles. The chicken is a great source of protein as long as you remove the skin. Try boiling the chicken the day before, refrigerating it, then scooping off the fat that will float on top. That works for all boiled meat. Don't forget your veggies, they are very good on a low fat diet, cooked or raw. Good luck.

That seems like a low calorie diet to me. Try getting 30 minutes of exercise per day and limiting your caloric intake to under 2000 calories per day.
my nutritionist recommended adding healthy foods instead of denying me my indulgences. Like, add 2-3 fruits, 3-4 vegetables, 3 ounces of protein, and whole grains. Keep track of your calories with a food journal.
You will want to have variety in your diet and not limit yourself to the same foods all the time or you will get really bored.

yes these foods may be low in fat and relatively healthy but u should eat healthy anyway. just eat a balanced diet of fruits and vegatables, meat and dairy and protein like nuts beans, and eggs. you can eat the foods you like but in moderation. i eat honey nut cherrios for breakfast or when i have time i eat a full breakfast meal like pancakes eggs and bacon or sausage, you can make whole wheat pancakes those are healthy. it's really all about the calories just burn more calories than you eat

It depends on your weight now....
the amount of each of the above foods you actually consume, what you usually consumed before the diet,
The amount of fat you add to the stirfry chicken,
What you put on your waffles (syrup? butter?)
How much salt you add to the food.
Your total calories eaten and the total calories burned throughout the day.
I would lose weight if I ate those foods. And YES, those are healthy foods. Eat them and see what happens.
