There is no religion without humanity, and humanity is the ultimate preaching of all the religions. So Humanity is superior

humanity is superior than religion because humanity units whole world and religion unites a particular mob of community with their own made thoughts but still humanity rides on the religions over all.

All religions are based on humanity; ideals like compassion, piety, honesty, humility and altruism are common to all faiths. Hence, the question of which is superior does not arise.

Etymologically religion is derived from the Latin words, re and ligare - to re-unite (humanity and the Almighty) Humanity is, therefore, an integral part of religion, any religion.

A more pertinent question would be - "Which is superior: Religion or Spirituality ?"

The answer? Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (Art of Living) likens spirituality to the banana and religion to its skin. Most of us throw away the fruit within and hang on to the skin. It is spirituality which gives meaning to religion; stripped of its spirituality, religion is merely a ritual, a form devoid of substance, blind faith at best. It is the synergy between religion and spirituality which enables man to transcend his limitation and achieve divinity.

I suspect that in order to answer it properly, the question calls for greater definition... i.e., In what way? Each might be superior in it's own way under some conditions - superiority being a relative term; in general however, I'd say it's a hands down decision on the side of humanity which would likely best religion for almost every instance named.

Without Humanity there is no Religion. Can you name a single Religion without Humanity. NO. If there is no human where is Religion ? So it is not the question of Religion or Humanity, and it is the question of How an individual reacts irrespective of Religion at hardship. It is depending upon the maturity of individual and religion should not be cursed.

Religion is superior to humanity if it taught and commanded the supreme humanity of equality, pious/ righteous acts and restrained from crimes and sins.. If the religion taught inhumanity, inequality and casteism, it is the least inferior.

Religion is merely the belief of God IN humans. That is like asking what is better, a car or its gasoline?
