there are two sides to this, yours and your mothers.
Your mother is probably looking after your best interest in that the rich guy will offer you security and some stability.
You see the thing is with love sometimes its not enough, it doesnt bring food home. but at the same time being with someone whom you dont love and just because they can provide for you financially can lead you to have a miserable life.
So there should be a balance, in matters of the heart its also good to use your head as well and not only your heart. You cannot live your life for your mother, sometimes you are gonna have to make decisions that are not gonna make her happy, but the bottom line is its your life she cannot live it for you......so you have to make the right choice for yourself

Why are you making decisions for your mom? Parents are there to help us make decisions not be the cause for our decisions. When it comes to matters of the heart, you want to be with someone you like/love, someone who respects you and your family. It's one of the worst type of miseries to be with someone and knowing your heart belongs to someone else. Talk to your mom and tell her what you feel and that wealth and age aren't the fundamental parts of a relationship. It all boils down to how much both parties care about each other and are willing to make the relationship work.

Quit worrying about what makes your mom happy and make yourself happy. Sounds like your mom needs to quit living her life through you and you should tell her that!!! Get back with the guy and make it work around your mom. Good luck and I hope you to are very happy together.

To be honest I think you should do whats going to make YOU happy not what makes your mother happy. If you love your ex and he loves you then you two should be together. Being a mom myself she should have unconditional love for you no matter what it is you decide to do.

Go back to your ex-boyfriend and try to patch things up with him. You deserve to be happy, so you should be. Don't worry so much about what your mother thinks, as her opinions really shouldn't matter so much to you.

Wait until you are old enough to make your own decisions & your mom can't interfere in your life.
Once you make the decision to do that then your ex b/f won't have as much importance to you as he seems to have now.

Stop listening to your mom. Listen to your heart! You want him, go get him. Hurry before he finds someone else! I hope this helps, for the second time...

How does your ex feel? How old are you? Maybe when you get older and mama is no longer in control you can hook up again.
