when you discover the person you fell with was really an illusion
when that person's bad habits are harmful or abusive
when you feel you are afraid, scared or disappointed when you are around that person more than you are glad or happy.
I would say if you are not sure about a relationship and you are asking this question you are no longer in love.
you wouldn't have to ask.
sometimes over a lifetime or several years you are no longer "in love" but you still love and respect that person.
that can sometimes be enough to save a marriage.
but if you are NOT married then sever the ties and move on.
take a piece of paper and make a list all of the reasons why you love or admire that person.
list why or how that person enhances your life why you wish to be with them.
next make a list why you would be better w/o them or their negative points that harm you.
it can be made that simple and clear when you see it in print.
best wishes

Umm depends on the person that you have fallen out of love with I think.
You could be with someone that you love but only really see as a friend now, maybe you have both been together a while and have gotten stuck in rut and have ended up going down the friendship route instead of the red hot lovers route.
It is really up to both of you if you try harder or walk away.
I went through this about 8yrs ago and we both tried harder and fought to keep each other and we are now married. So it is possible to stay in love you just have to work at it.

I don't suppose you fall IN love or fall OUT OF love by your choice. These things just happen. Sometimes after being in a love relation for quite some time, you come to know that the things just don't "click" together as you'd like them to. Things grow cold gradually, the spark is lost, and then you say you have fallen out of love.
That's how it happens.

If it is true love it can happen. One party can kill the love of the other by cheating, abusive behavior, or just their behavior by that I mean doing things they know the other one does not approve of. Love can be put out just like a fire. I was married for sixteen years and this happen to me I thought we would last forever but he finally killed the love I had for him.

when you fall in love you'll just know it, and no matter what even when you don't feel like loveing him or her you can't help but to love him/her. It when you get this special feeling in your stomach that isn't just a crush but the kinda that you just can't wait to see this person again
