Okay when you're teaching you dog comands...

Don't:

- expect him to not be a dog. They'll always drool or
howl.
- ask a terrier not to dig.
- hit your dog.
-give up!

Do:

- Be consistent.
- use rewards
- be patient
- use words and signals
- learn about your breed. (Some dogs are better at
obedience then others.)

Here are some more rules and tips:

- Obedience traning should be fun.
- It should include rewards.
- Sessions should be short.
- Trainers (you) should be patient.
- Start traing at home; later try diffrent places
- Don't expect him NOT to protect the family
- Do give him rules. He lives help and be fun.
- Don't yell if you want him to obey he will get
nervous around yelling.

if ur dog is already grown up, then u have to work alot harder than if u had a puppy. well u start by asking the dog to sit. if he doesnt do it within the next few seconds, push his butt down and give him a treat. repeat this until he sits on his own. wait a little longer each time. once hes mastered this, move onto more difficult tricks. hope this helps!

Just let it see the food the treats and then just like say sit sit then you give it the treat then it will know all the time I sit when she tells me to I will get something to eat and that's how you teach them.Plus it has to listen it's an adult.

be very patient and repeat the trick with your dog over and over and each time he does it reward him with a doggie treat. consistency is the way to get it right.

the biggest thing is time-it takes time for the dogs to learn them so it requires some patience and a few treats.

yes you can, show them a treat and after they do it pet them and say good boy or good girl and give them a treat everytime they do it. but be patient it won't happen over night.
