You can be on your own in a little over 12 months. If you're too impatient to wait for that, you're probably not adult enough to be on your own, anyway.
To become an emancipated minor in Florida, you have to petition the court. They will hold a hearing - your parents will be there - and you and your parents will each have the opportunity to tell the court why you should (or shouldn't) be on your own.
Then, the judge will make a decision on it. If the judge thinks you'd be better off on your own, and you have shown that you have a job, are earning enough to pay your rent and pay your bills, and are going to a stable home environment, he may let you go.
Your chances of this happening are probably one in a million.
Your chances of this happening before you turn 18 - because it takes a long time to schedule the court hearing, the department of child and welfare has to do an investigation, and your parents have to be interviewed - is pretty slim.

I stay in Tampa, FL. i'm a Tampa community here besides and that i could fairly be nowhere else! i actually like it here and Clearwater coastline is in basic terms half-hour away via interstate in case you ever opt to circulate. ft. Myers isn't some distance from here the two. in case you reside at a house off of the Tampa Bay, then you definately could have a place on your boat or there are some extremely large places in St. Petersburg and Clearwater that are all approximately human beings and the coastline or their boats, yet Tampa is larger as there is likewise Busch Gardens, adventure Island, and Lowry Park Zoo and remains not overcrowded. I anticipate alot of folk to signify the extremely populated places that are tourist factors of interest here like Daytona or Orlando, yet those places continuously cost lots for each thing, like gasoline and hire. And from Tampa, they're basically an hour or 2 away via interstate. additionally, homes on the marketplace here in Tampa are loopy suitable now!! Even crazier in St. Pete and Clearwater. you need to circulate to the monetary business enterprise and get a quick sale residing house for way under marketplace fee and with little or no problems with the residing house-different than the previous residing house proprietor went into foreclosures and the monetary business enterprise desires to make funds on the residing house returned. Tampa is fairly like the midsection of all of the attention and we've lots to do here besides because of the fact the different places. desire you discover someplace that makes you happy, yet i like it here and could on no account go away. i'm elevating my daughter here with my husband and all of our instant families are here too so there is gotta be something going at here.

You only have a year left and then you're legally an adult anyway. And you do realize that becoming emancipated is not a pleasant thing, right? It's like getting divorced, they're not going to like you afterwards.

If you need structure you won't get it living on your own.
You would have to go through the courts if your parents contested your move for emancipation.
By the time you get your case through the court system you will have become an adult anyway, so try to find a better way to waste your time. ;-)

You would have to go in front of a judge, they would decide if you should be emancipated or not.

This has to be done in court by a judge. That means you have to get a lawyer who will help speak on your behalf.

If you've got money then call a lawyer.
Also if you call family services they might be able to help.
If all else fails just try to hang in there.
P.S. have you tried talking to the p-units about it?
