I'm a vet tech, but you should still check with your veterinarian. Make sure the kittens are weaned, and removed from the mother. Her milk needs to be dried up before they'll do the spay surgery. You don't want to wait a year either, she's likely to go into another heat and can get pregnant again.

Yes I agree that the best thing to do is to wait until the kittens are fully weaned before you have her spayed because if not, then you or somebody else will have to bottle feed those kittens. Also, don't wait long because if you do and she goes into heat again, you will have more kittens
Good luck

Some vets will do it right away BUT I'd wait till the kittens are 8-12 weeks old.
Ask your vet is obviously the right thing to do. Or if your using one of the spay/neuter clinincs ask them.
Every cat is different.

you may in all probability nonetheless spay your cats now, yet it is going to likely be greater high priced with the pregnancies. If not, it somewhat is in many situations 6 to eight weeks after the kittens have been born, or whilst kittens are weaned or in many situations weaned. seem right into a NeuterScooter application around you to get your kitties fastened inexpensively and effectively.

You need to wait until the mother's milk is dry because when you cut into the abdomen the milk will pour into the incision and the milk from the mother cat can cause an infection so the best thing to do is to wait until the kittens stop feeding on her and then wait another week so that you can be sure that she is dry
hope this helps

I know some places can do it right after.I think its probley a good idea to wait a couple of weeks to give it some time to heal.Plus after they are spayed they need to spend a couple of days relaxing. Here is a link that will answer questions about after care and such.
