drink lots of water..
stay away from junk food
raw unpasturized apple cider vinegar..
the following 2 testimonials can be seen at http://www.earthclinic.com/cures/acne.ht...
Angelina O, has found that applying ACV topically to her face several times a day (4 or more times) has cured her of a "very bad complexion". She reports that she applies it straight and that while it burns her skin a bit, it still works like a miracle!

Cheryl writes, "My daughter developed a case of moderate acne, and after trying a number of different things for over a year which helped very little or not at all, she started drinking 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar three times a day and applying it topically once at night. She has been acne free for two months. It took about three weeks to clear up."

you can get it at the health food store, or in some super market health food sections.
good luck

You may want to try this regime. My son has used it and it's working very well for him - and it's less harsh for yourself then some of the other acne treatments.

Drink lots of water it always helps your skin.

Have you done a weekly mask? That helps find one you like and use an exfoliant too - sometimes during a change in regime your acne could get worse before it settles down and goes away.

I have an adult acne problem also...Stay away from sugar,it encourages bacteria growth. Take acidipholous, either in pill form or drinkable form(found in health food store) it inhibits bacteria growth. Drink lots of water and take a zinc supplement,it repairs skin damage. I dont know about flaxseed for acne but I know it is good for your metabolism. As far a what to use for cleaning your face...I was told to use Lever2000 for my face. I would also suggest a prescription for topical erythromycin to your doctor

Most food-related causes(and cures) for acne are myths. Make sure you keep your skin clean-put a little effort into it when you're washing it. This will remove bacteria, reducing the number of zits hat form, and make the ones that do appear easier to pop.
I take a medication called accutane. It works well for me.
