how does soil erosion indirectly or directly contribute to your lifestyle?

Soil erotion takes away the good fertile soil in to the ocean so the land will become very very arid and trees or plants wont grow there and that will put pressure on the water table and soon the place will become a dessert.

If this happens in the hill side then the lose soil will create land slide and 1000s of people die.

Now the main reason for soil erotion is cutting down of trees. The trees and plants hold the soil togther very strongly.

I dont know if this happend but President Bush was going to sign a law that will let the lumberers to cut the forest for wood from the protected national forests.

He does not care cuz he has enough money to take his family from harms way if global warming affects in a mass scale.

What about us? Start planting trees.

due to soil erosion, the fields shrink. naturally, the yield will be less. due to this, the prices of food grains raise. it affects everyone.
