I mean, it's based on an account by ONE guy who claims an angel on a flying horse brought him to heaven and hell.

The Seal: Don't you think you are an inconsistent religious bigot if you just pick on one religion?
If I said "Christianity" instead of "Islam" you would asssume I am atheist,
But If I say "Islam" you assume I'm Christian.
now, this is interesting, and very telling...it's obvious how partial atheists are to often STICK UP for Islam. I hardly ever hear them talking about the seriously sick cruelties in the middle east done in the name of Islam, yet they will come here and split hairs over what Christians dare to "believe",

I'm an atheist hun, get it together.

Al salam alaykom
Again I see people offending, insulting, and saying wrong things about the majesty of the Islamic religion. No, Islam is not silly, its the right path to go on with your life peacefully, of course many of you won't believe this, it is because there are only 40-50 million bad Muslims in this world and 1.6 billion Muslims are good, kind, and peaceful. Please I want all of the people, who are offending Islam, to learn about it well and maybe you should go to the nearest mosque and then ask a Muslim expert, he insha' Allah will be willing to answer your questions about Islam, and he's going to teach you about Islam.

Once you know Islam well, you will regret what you have said about the majesty of the Islamic religion. Please know it well then comment.

Peace be upon you all
wal salam alaykom

Islam is not silly. The word Islam means to submit to God. So that means Jews, Christians,Muslims and Baha'is.
Have you read the bible full of weird and wonderful events which if in a film wouldn't be beleived.

Are you a Christian by any chance? Who the hell are you to question their beliefs but not your own? Their religion is as much of a religion as Christianity or Judaism or whatever other religions are out there. Well then I apologize doll. And you're right there has been some violence in the name of Islam but it's been like that with Christianity as well. To be honest with you I am sick of all the garbage that I have been seeing on here lately. I wish we could all debate in a civilized way without all of the insults. And by the way I will pick on whoever i felt was being demaning and condescending. Since it's mostly Christians who are doing the condescending then that's why they get picked pn a lot so they aren't innocent bystanders.

The adherents will also riot and murder for simply publishing a political cartoon with an image of Muhammed then try to say they are rational and are a religion of peace.

Jesus is a character on South Park and you don't have people rioting and killing non christians yet when Muhammed was depicted acts of terror and reprisals by hundreds of thousands of muslums caused $billions in losses worldwide.

No sense of humor.

No, I really don't think it's kind of silly. Stupid people make religions seem silly, meaning the fundamentalists and the ignorant.

The same goes for any other religion.

nope.

know what i call silly?

idiots like u who just blabber nonsense without knowing the TRUTH (don't worry sweetie, u aint the only one.....just hang around here a few hours and u'll see wot i'm talkin about...)

there is PROOf leading to all Islamic beliefs, and i'd love to explain, but i really gotta sort out the other dumbos like u.....so i'd just like u to read the Holy Qur'an, if u know what that is.....

the Prophet Muhammad (sal) was a good man, who didnt just "claim" stuff like that.....God Himself says it happened (Refer Surah Al Isra, Chapter 17 of the Holy Qur'an) and he, unlike me, was very patient with ppl like u.......

besides - no offense Christian friends - but doesn't the bible state similar stuff?? Jesus (peace be upon him) was given certain POWERS and so was Moses......

Jesus, Moses, Muhammad....all prophets of Allah....so go figure

How would you feel if someone said your faith is silly?

We need to respect people, even if we don't agree with their beliefs. Too much religion bashing is going on on this website, and it's sad.

I am not a Muslim, but I have a lot of Muslim friends and I admire them as people, even though I don't agree with their religion.

Absolutely! And there's that other group whose whole existence is predicated on a guy who (they say), claimed to be the son of god! Some even claim he was his own father! Yeah, there is no end to the silliness.
