You could talk about it before doing it to add something new or exiciting that you like. Add anticipation. Talk dirty to eachother. You can always use more foreplay, make sure you are stimulated all over your body before having intercourse. Tell him what you like. I know this sounds gross, but a little anal goes a long way for both of you. Make sure you are both really clean then suck toes and kiss other places. You can use toys, lotions, lubricants to make it a little different or more special. Try new positions. Watch adult videos together before sex. Look at the kama sutra. Try romance products. Give eachother massages. You could read some romance advice on the subject.
Just in response to a later post: don't criticize, definitely keep his ego up and tell him how hot he is and how great it is to be with him. Nothing ruins sex faster than criticism.

There are many things you can do... after 2 years in my relationship it got boring also. The best things to help spice it up a bit are either Toys, movies, or just different positions.

Tell him what you want, watch porn together, and try to have a different sexual experience every single time for a month or two, it will become second nature after a period of time. If all else fails, be more aggressive in bed, and call him a 'wuss'.
