Pentecostals are considered Protestants. They are generally considered to be evangelicals, but no, evangelical does NOT equal pentecostal. Evangelical is a bit of a broad term, but pretty much includes protestants who aren't "Mainline" or "Liberal". (Liberal here has nothing to do with politics but a method of interpreting scripture). So Baptists, Pentecostals, and such are considered evangelical. Episcopals and Lutherans are not. However, many members of "evangelical demoninations" may not consider themselves to be evangelical because they don't agree with the political positions of the religious right (the most outspoken segment of evangelicals). Likewise, some members of mainline denominations may feel themselves to be evangelical. As with any broad category, things are never as cut and dry as the media would like to make them.

The Pentecostal movement within Evangelical Christianity places special emphasis on the direct personal experience of God through the baptism of the Holy Spirit, as shown in the Biblical account of the Day of Pentecost. Pentecostalism is similar to the Charismatic movement, but developed earlier and separated from the mainstream church. Charismatic Christians, at least in the early days of the movement, tended to remain in their respective denominations

Pentecostals are a form of Evangelicals. Evangelicals, including Pentecostals, belong to the larger category, known as Protestants.
Protestan has very little meaning today: it basically means all those belonging to Christendom that are neither Catholic nor Orthodox.

Pentecostals are considered Evangelicals by many. But they're not the Evangelicals with the big megachurches or those that believe in born again concept. They are different kind of Evangelical becuase they believe in charismatic things such as healing and speaking in tongues.

Yes, Pentecostals are Protestants and no they are not Evangelicals. Both will be missing their wedding garments in Heaven I'm afraid though.
