I mean, be honest : how many times have you prayed to God, and he's let you down?

Now, how many times have *I* let you down? Exactly -- zero.

I'm not a bad guy, I'm just misunderstood.

Multimillionaire TV preachers like Benny Hinn, despite being outed as a fraud still have steadfast adherents. People in history have had no problem clinging to their religious beliefs no matter how bizarre, false, and fraudulent. From the UFO death cult Heaven's Gate, to Rev Jim Jones and Jonestown where we get the phrase "drink the koolaid" Scientology, etc. People will die in religious fervor. It is silly. The healings in Benny Hinn's crusades proved false despite the prayers and "healings" that were captured on TV.

People will pray and when nothing happens it is always God's will so there is always an answer. If instead of spending time praying they sought a solution to the problem much more would get done. There is no power in prayer and I recall that double blind study where it came to pass that those who knew they were being prayed for actually had a higher mortality rate. There is really no power in prayer except for the feeling that someone is doing something about their problems.

As far as the existence of Satan it is the personification of evil and just part of the myth.

No ,Christianity is a wonderful way to live ,you have ups and downs like everyone else but you have a True friend[JESUS} who you can carry your cares and troubles to,and there is a everlasting joy that you won't find in following the worldly ways. The peace is beyond all understanding knowing that you have a home in heaven also. God will never never let anybody down.

Christianity is not silly to those who care where they will spend eternity. Prayer to God never lets anyone down, when they pray the way Jesus taught us to pray. If it's a list of what you want, then you've missed the point.

You certainly seem to have quite a following here at Yahoo Answers.

Again, stupid question. As long as you ask these kinds of questions, I am going to challenge you on them. I have prayed to God, and not once has He let me down. He has answered in His own time and manner. I have never prayed to you once, talked to you, or asked you for anything. And I never will. Satan is not misunderstood. He is the fallen angel, and he along with his demons, will continue to try and destort the Truth of God for all time.

Umm... No, it isn't really. You haven't let us down becuase we don't know who you are. Surely if we knew you, you would betray us once or twice. God has the best plan. All things he does for a reason. God cares about things we care about. And he feels for our heart. Sometimes he doesn't give us things that we want to test us, to make our faith stronger and longer-lasting. But all in all, God is a good God, and I pray that he will change so that someday you could accept him. Bless you.

I think if you're going to act as Satan, you need to have better knowledge of him. It's pathetic that you constantly apologize for certain things.

SATAN is NEVER SORRY for anything he does nor does he care about anyones feelings.
Obviously you believe in him to the point that, you either want to make fun.........................or flatter yourself because you have little horns too.

YOU ARE NOT EVEN SCRATCHING THE SURFACE. I think you should throw in the towel.

You ask......HOW many times Have I let you down? No one here is looking for you. Shame on you. You should know better than that.

Maybe the reason God has let you donw so much is because you didnt have faith to reach him in the first place. So in that way, it is your own lack of faith which has let you down and not God.

God has 3 answers to prayer, yes, no, and WAIT. If you arent willing to accept his answer unless it is the one YOU want, that is a sure sign you do not have faith.

I'm not a Christian, but Christianity is not silly at all. It works for many people. I consider it a true path to God, so long as it is walked with sincerity and righteousness, which is the way most Christians walk the Christian life.

I may not agree with all of the theology, but I would not call it silly.

Don't you think someone parading around claiming to be Satan is kind of silly?
I mean seriously If someone said they were Jesus they would be in a loony bin.

And if Satan never let me down how come I'm not a rock star huh?

Pleased to meet you...
hope you guessed my name....
