my cat is an indoor cat but she got out about four to three weeks ago. She came back but ever since then she has been using her litter box A LOT and my room has been starting to smell. I have cleaned out her litter box, cleaned it, given her new litter, i have washed all my clothes, all that i could and it doesnt do anything. I think my cat might be pregnant but i dont know if this smell is normal in a pregnant cat. Does anyone know what is happening my cat. She eats then she goes to the bathroom then two minutes later she goes back to the bathroom then two more minutes, its like a cycle. What's wrong with my cat?

This is a hard one to answer without actually seeing the cat...is she urinating a lot or pooping a lot? if she is urinating frequently and it smells strong she could have a urinary tract infection and would need to be looked at and start antibiotics to clear it up.

normal gestation for a cat is 63-65 days so watch for swelling of the mammary gland and an enlarged abdomen...the kittens can be seen about 2 weeks before birth on an x-ray so if she starts to show signs of pregnancy i would recommend that you see a vet and if they think she is far enough along they can take a film and give you an idea of how many babies you will be having in the near future--good luck---i hope this helps,.

you don't say whether she is only urinating or if she is defacating when she is in the litter box. It is possible that she has picked up a bug while out or maybe worms but I am unsure how a pregnant cat acts as both my cats have been neutered which in my opinion all cats should be regardless of whether or not they are indoor or outdoor cats, it is safer and kinder to the cats in the long run.

Personally I would take her to the vets as it sounds as though something is wrong and she needs looked at

Ya sounds like worms are causing scours. Is her poop like dark and runny? If so she has scours probably from hook worms. I would take her to the vet and they will probably start her on an intensive worming routine. Worming an animal is easy. In fact, Strongent is probably what they will give you. It is a yellow kind of thick liquid that smells like cake batter. My cats LOVE that stuff... you administer it by a syringe in their mouth... real easy

Probley is worms if she is pooping alot.If the vet says its not that it could be food.Authority,Science Diet and some other brands can help with the smell. And can help with so much waste. If its uranating alot it could be a bladder infection.

I have to agree, your cat likely has a parasite. At best, she ate something that's still partially in her system and has her going constantly. At worse, her innerds are shutting down. Either way, you must get your cat to the vet before it gets any worse.

Take it to the vet, sounds like she picked up a case of worms.

sometimes animals do that if you frequently change their food brands, or quality. i know my dog sure did that after we changed him from iams to a cheaper brand, and my cat did that after eating a laxative. [it was accidental]. if its worms, i know it sounds disgusting, but you could be able to see them in the cats poop for the most part...

Take her to the vet. She might have worms or some other parasite, especially if her feces are anything but solid.

I would take her in for a check up especially have her tested for kitty aids and leukemia now that she has been out.

Could be an "UTI" urinary tract infection. Could be, could be, could be.....

Sweet pea, get her to a vet but most importantly SPAY the little angel.
