I am asking you all for a pie crust recipe that will slice into squares and taste scrumtious. I would like it to be different than the usual pie crust, in other words with almond flavouring or ground nuts or oatmeal or something that will not crumble but is unique. Please help me if you have something like that in your favorite recipe collection.

as a shortcut you can use cresent roll dough. unroll the dough and place it on the sheet. add your filling as normal. or you can take a regular pie crust recipe and change it a little buy adding the almond extract and the ground nuts to the dough. you could make a cookie crust bottom by making a cookie dough with the oatmeal and using that as the crust for your pie

I would personally recommend making a cherry crisp.
It involves oatmeal and brown sugar as the soft crust then also makes very crunchy topping after baking on top.

Joy of cooking has a good, standard recipe.
