I'm 5'2". When I was in my 20's I weighed 100 lbs. Now I'm in my 50's I am struggling to keep my weight between 115 & 120 (which is ideal for me according to my doctor). I am very small boned & wear a size 8.
So - as there is no average weight because bone structure etc. has an influence you should concentrate more on your health and body shape that you can control through a healthy diet and exercise. You could be 5'2" and weigh 125 & look magnificant because of muscle mass. You could be 5'2" & weigh 125 and look like a hippo depending on how much of that weight is fat. They say you shouldn't pay any attention to the scales & I think they have a point. Toning the body through exercise can make you look terrific even without losing weight.

If you lose weight, you'll be under a healthy weight and under an average weight, sweetheart! You should *not* lose weight xx Here's what the experts say about your weight, your height and your age: "A weight of 7 stone 0 pounds and a height of 5 feet 2 inches for a 14 year old girl indicates that they are a healthy weight. Staying at a healthy weight, eating a good diet and doing regular physical activity are all important for the girl's health and development. If you have any concerns that they may be underweight, you should see your doctor." (Remember, the people you see in magazines or on tv or in films are often borderline unhealthily thin.) EDIT: The people above who say you are under weight are looking at the Adult chart, not the chart for under-18s... just don't lose weight but you are at a healthy weight at the mo, hun :) xx

I used a BMI calculator from a Yahoo search "BMI calculator" (there's lots of them). BMI is just an indictator. I have friends who are out of the "normal" range but their doctors think they are perfect weight when considering their build.
For Ht=5-2
Wt BMI
101 18.5
137 25
* Underweight = <18.5
* Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
* Overweight = 25-29.9
* Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

There is no such thing as the range is too large. You have to take into consideration age, lifestyle, location, genetics, and overall health. If you want to know if your height and weight is healthy and normal then ask your doctor or check your Body Mass Index.
