You woke up all the haters with this question. The Jimny will do what ever you want it to do if it is like its predecessor.
I owned a Samurai....(until my DAD wrecked it). It was a great 4x4.

Too the haters.....you people are sad and most of you probably have never seen a Suzuki in action let alone been off road yourselves.

The Suzuki Jimny is not a Jeep. How can a Suzuki be a Jeep. That is like saying that a Toyota is a Chrysler. And no, a Suzuki Jimny is not a good car compared with a Jeep Wrangler because it is made of plastic and not metal.

A Suzuki Jimmy is not and never will be a JEEP! A Jimmy was made by GMC in the 1980's.
A Jeep is a Jeep. Often imitated, but never Duplicated.

well my mum has one and i thought they were crap that is until my own care broke down and i had to borrow it. I tried it off road having owned 4x4's including land rover defenders in the past i was amazed to find that the jimny was just as good if not better when taken off road it has to be tried to be believed how good this little thing is

No, and its not a Jeep. If you want a jeep buy a jeep. Those Suzuki's are death traps, and roll over very easily.

a jeep is an American off road car in this country favored by hairdressers, Suzuki is a Japanese manufacturer of vehicles primarily motorbikes two entirely different things which cannot be compared

There's no such thing as a Suziki Jeep.
The ONLY jeeps that can be called jeeps are Wrangler Jeep!
Get one of them if you want to be serious about jeeps!!

Suzuki as a car brand is fine strong reliable & just ok.
but when things go rong then very expencive ok?
