Ok...I baked my first loaf of bread ever. Now that it's done and out of the oven, how long should I wait to get it out of the pan?

When it's slightly cool. Then let it cool for a good long time before you cut it, or it will smash.

I take my bread out of the pans right away. It tends to get mooshy if you don't. It is especially good to eat if you get it while it's still warm.

Good luck and congrats on your first loaf!!

wait until it cools then turn the pan over on a plate/ tray/ cutting board and tap the bottom of the pan and it should come out.

if you want a crisp crust, take it out right away. If you want a softer crust, leave it in the pan until it cools-it will soak up moisture from the steam created as it cools, making a more mushy crust

wait until it is nice and cool to take it out or else it will stick. I'd give it at least an hour.
