I've heard that Dharma when spelt with a capital D refers to the teachings of the Buddha. What does dharma mean when spelt with a little d?

Edit:

Dharma, or the teachings of Buddhism. “Dharma” with a capital D means the teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha. With a small d, it means all phenomena, everything that is: animals, people, plants, rivers, mountains, stars, the wind, galaxies, even space. In this sense, if we are open, we can learn from a blade of grass.
