Well, since you only want a "word" I would have to say love. because if Jesus does in fact exsist, then he really gave a lot of love. he cared for his enemies. He even forgave the one who betrayed him. All out of the single word. Love. The word has so much meaning and passion wrapped up in it. And for those who believe in God, love is the most precious gift he gave you. Because without it, none of the things in the bible would ever have happened.

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Most people I talk to view the commandments as a big burden or something only for "the Jews" or as otherwise obsolete. If people just tried to keep the law, I think more people would be prosperous here on earth. Not necessarily financially, but mentally, physically, and spiritually.

While being crucified on the cross Lord Jesus Christ prayed to the Lord to forgive the people who were torturing him. He also prayed to the Lord that they did not know what they are doing and therefore deserve forgiveness from the Lord.

The Great Commandment is great psychology:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength and love your neighbors as you love yourself"

Love is the foundation of life. God is the source of love, we do not generate it on our own. The love we have comes from God's love for us. How we treat others is a projection of how we treat ourselves. When we love others, we love them in accord with how well we love ourselves, so self is sandwiched between loving God in return with the love God has for us and loving others with that same love after we have loved ourselves in a healthy manner.
On this hangs all the law and the prophets.

The commandment that he gave: Love one another.
Sounds easy enough but everyone seems to be failing miserably at it.
