It makes them feel really really really really good, for a little while. Then it takes control of their lives. Don't risk it.

I don't know,I take pain pills for severe pain for years now and do not have an addiction or feel like i need to take them if i am not in a lot of pain, i am so glad i am not addicted and feel like i have to have them even if at the moment i am not in pain.or even yo get high on them, lortabs,but some people when their young aways wish to do thing's like that, I am sure it makes them feel better,Young people experiment, with things, its in the nature of young people to experiment. had some Friends die on drugs when i was young , some people will not listen to reason.no matter what you tell them as people need to learn for themselves.
when you put powdered drugs in side the nose it will go right into the blood stream from there and get people a quicker high and a rush,as if you ingest it ,it takes time to break down and get into the blood ,so its a better high for some people if they snort it.

Swallowing pills take time to break down and digest. So, snorting will get you high faster because it goes almost right into your blood stream. This is a very bad behavior which ultimately will lead to intravenous use. I've seen it a hundred times.

I have heard it gets to the brain quicker. So in turn its gets them high quicker. Are you the teen or the Parent?
