i am getting my braces off in about 4 months but i want them off now they look straight enough to me and i am happy with them like they are but the braces are holding me back as i never want to show my teeth ane 1 got ane answers?<3

even though they look great now they need time to adjust and stay in place forever.
and your back molars might look good but its hard to tell if they are correctly placed or not,.
just keep holding on and your teeth will look great afterward.

Well I have been wearing braces for almost a year and I also think that my teeth are perfectly straight so I should get them removed, but doctors say that your teeth need a little time to get used to being straight and maybe you orthodontist might want you to keep them on until that happens!! : )

i had braces .... i haved to have them on for just over a year u may think there done but there not ... but at the end when u have them off they look like a babys new teeth....they will not be straight because it moves each time u titen the brace and if u take it off ur teeth at this stage will be worse than when u first started off because they are very easy to move because of them moving so far tp make them straigh.... hope this helpedt

Keep them on. If you get them off now, your teeth can get crooked again. The last four months are to "train" your teeth to stay like that.
P.S. My teeth are fine, and I need them until May 2008!

No because four months isn't that like and like sonme said above it could ruin your teeth forever.If iI were getting mine off in 4 months i would be so happy.

No offense, but I'd say the dude (or dudette) who went to school for years to become an orthidontist would know better than you when they should come off. Make an appointment and ask, and if they don't recommend they come off, then leave them on.

keep them on. and brush your teeth a lot. if you take them off now the orthodontist will get pissed off and make you keep them on longer(that is if you take them off yourself). do not take them off. it will be much better if you just wait. i have braces and i hate them so much but i dont want to have to get them again so i treat them good lol

no keep them on and don't be soo self consious some guys actualy like girls with braces i think you should get over it and stick with them it is only 4 months

no u shouldn't cuz ur orthadontist knows best and u will have to wear a retainer anyway to keeo ur teeth from getting crooked again
