I've been going out with my boyfriend for almost 6 months, and I think I love him. I'm not sure if he feels the same way about me. All my friends say either he does or he will with time and that he has a hard time showing his feelings for me because he needs to mature a little bit more. I don't know if I should discuss this with him or leave it or, and this is my last resort, break up with him. The whole situation really upsets me, but I really care about him. What should I do?

Ok, first of all, the word 'think' shouldn't be in there. I know I love him. Second of all, I've already told him. He did say it back. He's also said he would never leave me. I'm just afraid that if he sees how much I love him he'll realize he doesn't feel the same way and try to end it.

Well, love is an extremely strong emotion, your feelings of anxiety are quite normal. You should reveal your true feelings to your boyfriend. Think of it like this, if you love him, then why do you love him? He must have given you multiple reasons to love him right? Through his actions and words. This could mean he probably feels the same way. If he isn't quite ready to admit or say he loves you back, do NOT freak out. You may find this hard to believe, but love means more to guys. Guys fall in love less often than girls do, but guys fall harder and give it there all when they do fall in love (at least the good guys anyway). If he isn't ready to say he loves you, that may simply mean he wants to take it slower than you do. However, it is important to have that conversation, and ask him where he sees the relationship going, just to make sure that the two of you are on the same page.

When you care as much as you do for your bf and you have been seeing each other for 6 mos., you should be close enough to talk about your relationship! Breaking up isn't an option, you would only be miserable!
That's all you need to do is talk to him and find out how he feels too!

There is 1 thing, you said you "think" you love him., ok, maybe you shouldn't focus on that as much. Just be aware that you like him first and the rest will follow! I'm taking it that you want to "RUSH" your relationship and please don't do that this early while you're involved. Love grows and you need to let it happen and don't jump ahead so quick!

Talk to your guy alot. that's the only way you will know where you both "stand".

Good Luck!

Don't tell him you love him!!! Big mistake. Be a little elusive. Men like to chase and if he thinks you might leave he will make a move. Otherwise is "if he isn't that in to you" if won't care and you will then know to move on. I am sure you are both young so keep your options open and see what happens

Men are slower to show how they really feel esp. if you giving out too much. Take some back and act busy for a while.

All I have to say is don't wait and hope...if you feel that he's not going to reciprocate the same types of feelings back to you, then you're probably right. Go with you gut, it never fails you...
