My dad is a minister. Those old biddies in the churches never failed to keep a sharp eye on my mom, to make sure she played the role. She couldn't do anything to make any of them jealous, no stylish clothing or sexy hair styles or their tongues would go to wagging about how he must make too much money (ministers are supposed to be in poverty according to their flocks). If any of her kids did anything besides sit in church, hands folded in their laps, big smile on their faces, some old bag would gleefully inform her of how "bad" we were behaving. She had to be a total peacekeeper, no matter how sorry someone was acting towards her, because if she ever stood up to them, all hell would break loose. People would complain to dad about her attitude, how she wasn't a "good Christian wife" or some crap. Then she had to deal with a husband who was still human (and frequently a prick) knowing that everyone around her had some idea he was perfect because he was a preacher, and four kids who were determined to prove to everyone that just because their dad was a minister didn't mean they were candya**es, lol!

I wouldn't take the job for a million bucks.
