if you just want exercise, take Tae Bo, a specialized exercise made by Billy Blanks. It looks like martial arts, but doesnt focus of self defense. Best of all, you dont need to take classes. Just buy a few videos ad follow along. Good luck.

In our dojang I see this each and all the time. i'm actual the example you placed forward. I attend classification with my 2 sons. Youngest is 10 and the eldest is 13, i myself am 33. i'm the only that takes it heavily on a similar time as my eldest in simple terms is going interior the direction of the motions and my youngest sees it as exciting. all of us started on a similar time 4 years in the past. i'm a purple belt, my eldest is a blue belt and my youngest is a green tip. (he's in no hurry to grade because of the fact he can no longer try for his black till a minimum of 14). My eldest hasn't progressed previous blue because of the fact he's no longer taking it heavily sufficient. it is the significant authentic there. At some point you could take it heavily or you will get to a undeniable element and pass no added. it particularly is no longer ordinary each and each of how by to black. Our gradings take training overall performance under consideration and my instructor has no qualms approximately refusing to grade you if he doesnt see the attempt, or he's correcting a similar element repeatedly lower back. we could take it severe at some point and you at the instant are not likely to do something for years while you're in simple terms there to alleviate boredom. asserting this nevertheless we do have particularly some exciting in college with video games that concentration on stability and reflexes so it particularly is no longer all severe martial arts. i do no longer think of there's a extra perfect thank you to distinguish between the severe student and the hobbiest because of the fact finally the educational itself gets rid of the scholars who are not taking it as severe as they could. Time continuously tells.
