I'm going thailand with my friends and we dont have a credit card to make a reservation online so its like a walk-in on the day itself. Is there any hotel (3 stars and above) at a rate of $60/night.?

There's Novotel Siam Square - but I'm not sure if it's that cheap - check online. Also, you can very easily stay in Silom or Sukhumvit area - which are both near the Siam area. Just a Sky train (BTS) away. The BTS is cheap, and even if you ride a taxi, it's also cheap - but beware of the horrid traffic there.

Hi, you can try Asia Hotel just next to to Rajthevi Skytrain Station. It is a 5-mins walk to Siam shopping area and within your budget for a walk-in booking.
Other choices will be Bangkok Palace Hotel, D'Ma Pavilion Hotel and Eastin Hotel in Pratunam area.

there is a hotel in mbk shopping mall which is like siambasically
i don't understand why u would want to stayin siam though..that's a weird [place for me to understand to want to go and sleep
