I like this guy at my school. My friend told me he like me back. And i want him to ask me out. But everytime i try to talk to him he avoids me. What does this mean?

Yeah, he's probably just shy. Just try making small talk with him, or talk to him over the internet to lighten him up a bit. Just don't stress about it, if he really likes you, he'll come around and make the effort!

He is nervous. Let him come to you. Start to do things he likes. Or maybe he has a girlfriend and he likes you but, he doesn't want to breakup with her. Give him time.

this is good,because he like you too.when you talk to him and he tries to avoid you that doesn't mean he lie that he like you.maybe he feels uncomfortable when everyone is around and suddenly you went towards him just to have chat.maybe you should talk to him when he is alone or when no one is around.
