Most women cry, moan with friends, eat chocolate and they get well again and seem more mentally stronger. Having loads of guy friends I always find they fall in love hard and take longer to get over it. They keep it in more which is bad and generally take rejection alot worse than women do.

Anyone tell me why?

there is some truth to what you say.

as a guy i know i don't take rejection well, and if i really fall for someone and it doesn't work out it can take quite a while to get my head straight again. i think when guys reach the end of the 'grieving' process they're more "over it" than women are though. although it takes guys longer i think they're better at leaving the past behind and truly moving forward.

girls take much more of a mental battering when a relationship ends, they reinforce negative neural pathways by dwelling on issues and talking about them too much, most women carry baggage from one relationship into the next ... getting over someone is often a very superficial process for women, like how shopping or eating chocolate makes them feel better, they prefer to bury the problem and create a different reality ... which is why their "issues" often resurface from one relationship to the other.

women aren't mentally stronger than men, they're just better at fooling themselves ... because their circle of friends are the same, and they perpetuate the same myths. guys just get on with it, but do it a lot more slowly ... ultimately they come out the other side more whole, more healed, and stronger ... whereas women are usually more fragile, and whilst they appear to be OK, they're held together much more loosely emotionally than a man who's gone through the same thing.

cause guys arent the type to cry
we're not gonna start crying and expect some guy to hug us
only around girls maybe
but girls get their feelings out
guys keep it bottled in
and guys dont generally talk about it
so thats why, they dont have anyguys to turn to when they need help (because they dont talk to guys about that generally)

and women are alot more open and stuff
and guys tend to ask girls out so thats why they dont really deal with rejection (but if they reject a guy, they feel bad)

hope this helped
