"Hola, como estas?" means, "Hi, how are you?"
You respond, "Bien, y usted?" meaning, "Good, and you?" to someone you'd speak formally to. Change the "usted" to "tu" for a casual friend.

I believe you mean Hola?como estas. They are saying Hi, How are you? You would reply Estoy bien, Gracias. ( I am fine thank you) you could even add, "y tu?" ( and you)

You mean Holla como estas? (not Holo) = Hello, how are you?
You reply "Muy bien gracias, y usted?" = Very Good thank-you, and you?"
That would be the easiest for you to remember, otherwise say "Muy bien gracias, y como esta usted?"

Your reply would be "Muy bien, y tu ?" (Very good, and you ?).
If that were true, that is...you may be doing horribly and I have no idea what that is in Spanish, sorry.
