Losing 15 lbs in 6 weeks is very easy if you are serious about it. If you are overweight in the slightest then it is even easier. If you are already at your best weight or underweight then it wont be very easy to do. Lets assume you are 15 lbs overweight... then this will be very easy for you to do and it is very easy no matter what people say so long as you follow the rules.
Here are the rules:
1) get at least 8 hrs of sleep a night, you cannot lose weight if you do not get enough sleep.
2) stop drinking any beverage except for purified water... and drink lots of it, adding lemon to the water would be a nice addition. If you cannot stomach water, have green tea made with purified water, do not purchase pre-made green tea in bottles, make it yourself.
3) change your eating habits. when I say this I mean eat more fresh vegetables, and fruits, avoid processed foods, have lean meats and avoid lunch-meats, avoid bread and search out as many vegetarian meals and wholesome diet plans as you can. There are a lot out there.
4) go to GNC and purchase a colon cleanse, like the complete body cleansing program.. this alone can actually help you lose 5 lbs in a week and the diet plan they offer inside that box is an excellent idea of a good diet plan for the other 5 weeks as well.
5) move your body... walk, jog, run,.. if you hate all those, dance. Turn up your stereo for an 30-40 mins a day and dance yourself silly. Break a sweat, that's all I ask... and keep it up for a minimum of 15 mins.
6) buy yourself some metamucil and add it to two drinks a day, even if you're not constipated, because fiber helps your body move or rather remove the stuff in your digestive tract out of you. Imagine a freeway with a lot of cars, and they're all lined up in a huge traffic jam... imagine all of their engines have stopped and they're just sitting there. The only way they move is if a big buldozer comes through and pushes them forward a little.. the buldozer is the fiber.. the more you take in the more of those cars get off the freeway...
Imagine if every meal was 10 cars and every meal was followed by a big buldozer.. and that's about how it is for your body...
Do these things... and remember that sweating is your friend... water is your friend and sleep is your friend.. nutrition is your friend.. and respect those things and you will realize how totally simple it is to lose that weight.
Good luck.

I am going to start a vegan diet. Eat no artificial foods. I lost weight quickly, and have kept it off. If you want faster results, do 30 minutes each of cardio and weight training (at least 5 days a week). Do not lift heavy, since that will cause you to bulk up. You want enough weight to cause resistance. If you do not have access to a gym, try pull ups, push ups, and crunches, Stay faithful. Also, make sure that you take calcium and iron supplements. You will not get either by eating produce. If you do cheat, do it once and get right back on it. Do not forget to exercise every day if you can. Try not to go any longer than two days with out exercising.
