In the US, what will the tendency of food trends in the future? is people now prefer more healther/organic food? like to be green environmental?

Now we are more concerned about food which free from chemicals. organically grown food is now being promoted very much. but it not really possible to not to utilize any pesticides and fertilizers as these promote more yield. The growing population needs more and more food . so let us expect better food i.e. food without toxic elements

From everything I've been reading, it's going to be towards organic, locally produced, and sustainable practices for the earth. And less processed.
I personally like the trend, but I know menu prices will be going up.
