Spiritual experiences are difficult to define, as the explanation depends as much on what people believe, as it does on what actually occurs. The Kundalini is said to be the coiled serpent at the base of the spine associated with sexual energy, or base physical energy. The Kundalini experience is the sudden and dramatic rising of the serpent through each of the chakras, causing an explosive release of energy in each chakra, as it rises, finally reaching the crown where it manifests as a release of golden light. That is the theory, or an explanation of a spiritual experience in terms of a belief in the existance of Kundalini and chakras.
Someone who has no belief in such things, could have the same experience, and explain it quite differently. The problem with beliefs in spirituality is that they create expectations, just as you seem to have an expectation of kundalini. The spiritual universe is there for all to explore, and experience, and in my view, it is best to do so without expectations, and beliefs, and then what is presented before you can be appreciated for what it is, without any hype. If you are expecting the light brighter than a thousand suns, the you'll fail to notice and appreciate that little swirl of gold, which is a first glimpse of the divine.

~~~ttt,,,, Everytime you have an orgasm you are experiencing a Kundalini Effect. As is obvious by the way the 'feeling' begins in the Root Chakra,( genitals) and moves right on up to give one The Euphoria through the Crown Chakra. By Tantric Methods one can control this Kundalini Energy and become a sexual performer of "Sting's" reputation,,,,However, uncontrolled and undisciplined Kundalini Practice outside of the sexual theater can be highly dangerous and some of us feel this is the answer to Spontaneous Human Combustion. Study the concepts for yourself,,,,
Me. The sleeping serpent woke up.
How can I say what it was like? Imagine that your DNA contains all of the knowledge
about your physical self. Now imagine this same DNA having memory about the entire history of DNA, human and otherwise.(and also, knowledge of future/latent developments)
Now imagine all this knowledge rising to conscious awareness.
In essence, the body itself wakes up to(becomes aware of) this knowledge.
