Why would you want to? Everyone's life is worth the tears.
Crying is as normal as the day is long and should never ever be looked down upon. It's what separates us from the animals.
Being stoic has it's place--not always at a funeral. Shedding a dignified tear is admirable.
Be brave enough to cry.

well you can try standing in the back away from the other criers. But you will probably still cry, when I was at this funeral I saw everyone crying and then I did too, the whole time I thought I wasn't going to cry but something about funerals...

There's no shame in crying, even if you're the first person to cry and it makes others cry. They're probably trying to hold it in too. People are expected to cry at funerals. I had to have help leaving my mother's funeral because I was sobbing like you can't believe. I looked at classmates and relatives and there were tears running down their faces. It actually helped because I knew my mother was loved and people cared. Don't be afraid to cry.

You don't need to worry about that funerals are about sadness and crying is just an expression of the loss that you feel and the pain that you feel for the family that is grieving. Take lots of tissues and cry if you need to. Crying is the first step in healing the soul.

What's wrong with crying at a funeral? If you feel it, let it out.

wao, so you going to a funeral and don't cry, that's like going to the club and won't dance, so what's the meaning of going to the funeral if you are going to be holding off your feelings, I don't want you to come to mine.

It's absolutely ok to cry. Of course if it was someone close to me (like my sis), i'd be bawlin'!!
If you worried that you may "over cry," take deeeeeep breaths. Count to ten. But remember, it's OK to cry at a funeral.

Let it all out! It's the best place to cry, no matter what you're crying about.
